The typical melting point for this beeswax is between 144 and 150 F (about 62 to 66 C). In general, if beeswax melts below 144 F (62 C) or above 153 F (67 C), it may indicate that the wax is not pure and could be adulterated with paraffin, ozokerite or other foreign substances. Staying within the expected melting range is one of the indicators of a pure beeswax product.
