These two-piece candy bar snaps wax melt clamshells come in a 120-pack and are designed with 5 cavities and a total capacity of 2 ounces per clamshell. Made from PET plastic rather than PVC, they offer a more environmentally friendly option and are BPA-free, using the same type of plastic commonly found in soda bottles.

Each clamshell measures approximately 5.75 inches by 2.5 inches by 0.625 inches when closed. The recommended pour temperature is 140 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit, with a maximum temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit. If pouring above 150 degrees, testing on a single clamshell first is recommended to make sure the plastic does not deform.
These clamshells can be cleaned and reused, though repeated use may lower the temperature threshold and increase the chance of cracking over time.
